The various states have DMV's that might want a different amount of information on the bill of sale.
You can check with the state that you are registering the motor home in.
They should have the info for you, however,
I have created a somewhat universal "Motor Home Bill of Sale" and it is available here at the following link -
MOTOR HOME BILL OF SALE.
You will want a good document to cover all of the major details about the motor home that you are buying/selling. Don't forget that you will also need a "Title" as a document from the seller to give to the DMV of your state. Afterwards, you should get a new "Title" within a few weeks.
If you sell a motor-home without a bill of sale and the new owners get a ticket for some infraction there are ways that the fine can come to haunt you.

Receipt
This form of receipt or "Bill of Sale" should clearly state the information concerning the major details of the vehicle being purchased.
A large motor-home can sometimes reach a million dollars or a small one can be very inexpensive. Consider the amount of money being paid and take care of the specifics.
Getting a simple sales slip or a hand written note rather than a bill of sale that is without all of the information needed, can become a problem in the future.
If you don't, for example, state whether it has a generator and the buyer comes to you asking where the generator is located after the sale you now have to tell them that it did not have one or that the one that it did have does not work properly there now are problems for both of you.
Make it clear that both parties understand the details of the agreement, use a good, descriptive bill of sale.
The Motor Home Bill of Sale should mention year built, color, make, model, number, body style, VIN, number of axles, odometer reading, seller registration # if it applies and empty weight.
If it was a gift that should be noted to avoid sales tax on the amount that the RMV will decide that it is worth. It should mention the buyer and sellers name and address as well as the date and the amount of money for the sale.
A good addendum is the information about a water heater, refrigerator, air conditioning, DC and AC voltage in the vehicle, the number of batteries, the size of the fuel, clean water and gray and black water tanks.
A description of the bathroom and kitchen items and info about the areas for sleeping.
Does it have built in television(s) and radio? Does it have a pop out side or several pop-outs? Does it have a built in satellite set up for TV?
The size of the generator (if it has one) and what fuel it uses is important, as well as the type of fuel that the motor-home uses and the engine size.
Some states require license plate information. Some as for the name of the person from whom it was previously bought.
Not all states are the same as far as the details of registration are concerned.
Some have different title requirements that is why there are a lot of details on this bill of sale to cover many situations.
Call the DMV in the state where you will register the motor home to get the proper requirements before you buy.
It is a nice crisp pdf file and will be an excellent bill of sale.
